One of the things I love about spring is the blooming of flowers. It has been pleasant to stroll through certain parts of Paris where there are now flowers, because their scent is refreshing compared to the usual cloying smell of cigarettes and exhaust. Recently on our way to Musée d’Orsay, we strolled through the Tuileries Garden. Lovely red and purple tulips lined the ground; their colors caught my attention. The scent of pink and white hyacinths blended with the breeze, and when I breathed in their natural fragrance, the aroma lingered with me for a while.
The sun was playing hide-and-seek as we were on our way to the museum. On our way out the clouds had burned off. Unfortunately we decided to walk a different direction for dinner so I wasn’t able to take better photos with the brightness of sun.
