We just spent five days in England where we relished the fabulous raw vegan options in London and where we escaped to the rural side in Wiltshire County. We loved our time in both places and at the end of our trip (yesterday evening), we were sad to leave. The brilliant city of London was spectacular and we loved every bit of it. This was our second visit and this time we had explored the city in depth. I have to admit that on our last visit, London did not strike us the same way as she did this time. We were definitely more impressed with everything as we gave this city another chance. This large city has a lot to offer and it’s just so cool. We even had good autumn weather on this visit: mild temperature and sunshine. And it didn’t rain!
Nighttime was lively and we liked the eclectic vibe from each neighborhood. For this trip, we stayed in West London but explored bits of the north, south and east as well. On the first part of the trip we stayed in Kensington by Earl’s Court Station, and after coming back from our short trip to Devizes and Salisbury, we returned and settled in Queensway and Bayswater.
The main highlights of this trip were our dining options and the exposure to the rural setting. We realized we could spend a month in England and still not be able to see everything we want. A return trip in the future is a must to explore other parts of England.
