Christmas Markets

About a week in Berlin now, we’ve been doing some market hopping around the large city. There are 60 Christmas Markets here, and we’ve had a very small sample over the past few days. Some of my favorite things at the markets are the Christmas trees, the colorful lighting, and for eats, warm roasted chestnuts and hot apple cider.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We mostly celebrated on Christmas Eve like the locals here, so the 24th was low-key for most of the day. And then we were out and about all day on the 25th, where most things opened back up. Now that we had a good dose of the Christmas Markets, we’re looking forward to celebrating the new year at Brandenburg Gate.

Happy New Year everyone! Talk to you then.

Cheers,
