Berliner Dom

On New Year’s day, we spent a mellow day visiting the Berlin Cathedral in the Mitte neighborhood. The German name “Dom” for cathedral can be traced back to “Domkirche”, which was used by collegiate churches back in the 14th century.

Inside Berlin’s biggest cathedral we toured the church, the crypt, and up 270 steps to the dome walkway, was where we had a view of the city center.
