Marina Del Rey Fisherman’s Village

The quaint and little man-made harbor at the Fisherman’s Village in Marina Del Rey was a pleasant visit. Although small, it seems a lot goes on there: Live music emanated from the entrance and throughout the village; visitors waited eagerly, yet patiently to rent bike cruisers; restaurant diners enjoyed their views of the harbor while people-watching; glamorous photo shots of girls in skimpy little outfits performed in the parking lot; dog owners walked their shiba inus and dachshunds; water lovers sailed, boated, and jet-skied; boat tours entertained people on large yachts; and couples waited to be wed waterside.

A very short walk into this village, it took little time to scope out the entire strip. We enjoyed views of the waterfront and the bold colors of the houses turned into shops and offices.
