Fay Canyon Sedona

We had the chance to spend the day out in Red Rock Country. The sight of all those red rocks were just amazing. The beautiful natural scenery was worth the drive and time there. Sedona is ten degrees cooler than Phoenix, so our hike was more enjoyable in the nineties.

Our first hike was at Fay Canyon, a quick and extremely easy stroll through the desert forest with lots of shade. We walked a red sandy pathway to the end where massive pile of red rocks towered over us. To see the view of the canyon, we climbed up this red tower and was greeted by a colorful lizard.

  1. Thanks. I do fine with ninety degrees weather, but my husband doesn’t do too well with this kind of hot climate. He’s not willing to adjust, and anything hotter for me (100+ degrees)isn’t good for our outdoor activities either. We both find the climate in SoCal is better for our outdoor activities.
