Mckinney Falls State Park

On Saturday we went bike riding at Mckinney Falls State Park, just 8 miles from our place. The weather was perfect: sunshine, blue sky, and 80 degrees farenheit. The park’s main attraction is its waterfall. There is an upper and lower fall, and both were dotted with people. We checked out both but spent more time at the lower falls, checking out the scenery and people watching. It seems the falls is a popular place for swimming and sunbathing on the pebble beach nearby.

Although the biking was easy and not our typical technical trail that we like, it was still a fun pedaling time, and a great way to absorb some vitamin D goodness from the sun. The falls were also nice to check out, too. Overall, it was a well-spent Saturday!
