St. Edwards Trail

With 100-degree heat plus humidity, we haven’t been able to enjoy our outdoor activities. The last of our nature walk was several weeks at St. Edwards Park; and even then with 90-degree heat, we didn’t enjoy our swampy nature walk. The humidity and relentless mosquitoes made it tough to complete the trail, and it was tempting to soak in the creek.

We came across a rope hanging off a tree. The thought of swinging and jumping into the water was appealing but without change of clothes and towels, we opted to stay dry. Shortly after, we turned around and ended our last nature walk for the summer in the Texas heat.
