The crabapple trees at Montreal Botanical Gardens are striking. It’s the one place in the city that has so many of them in one area. Being a lover of cherry blossoms, I also appreciate crab trees. They have such a visual impact during all four seasons, but in the spring when their flowers bud it is so delightful to the eyes. Their blossom colors range from pearly white through delicate pinks to a deep red. Not only are they beautiful, but they smell really nice too.
