IMG_6543 Angie Deptula is a wife, a sister, and a daughter like so many women out there. What she is not, is a kept soul that resides in the realm of a cookie-cutter society. She lives outside the box, seeking to be free, for a simple, minimalistic life — one that is filled with the pleasures of seeing the world, experiencing culture through her eyes, ears, touch, and taste. She craves adventure and a little spontaneity. She doesn’t need wealth and grandiose things. That was her yearning past. Longevity and happiness are her present and future, and with the conditional love she shares with husband Nick, she is happy and content.

Since the birth of this blog in January 2013, Angie left her birth city Seattle and profession in research and science to liveΒ outside of the USA and travel abroad. She’s never in one place for too long during her sojourn, but it’s enough to experience the culture eachΒ place.

Through this blog, she documents and shares her journal — the story of her plant-based lifestyle, travels, discoveries, and adventures of each place she visits. Currently, she is exploring Scotland.

  1. now that i’m back in LA, i’ll be hitting up your blog for some vicarious international delights…it was way cool to share some vegan delights with you and nick at pousse pousse…i loved the ambience and the assiette du jour at sol semilla and the hazelnut roast at le potager du marais was awesome…if you find yourselves in the u.k, the inspiral lounge was a highlight of the vegan path i took in london…and when you need a beach paradise to just kick back and enjoy, keep santa teresa, costa rica in mind….happy trails!
